Overview
Current residents participating in the Housing Choice Voucher program (HCP) may contact their housing specialist by phone or email. If you can’t remember the contact information for your specialist, please click here to view a staff directory. Please note that you will need an appointment to meet with your specialist.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Rent is due on the 1st of the month, and a late fee of 8% is charged for rent not paid by the 5th of the month.
- Drop off your rent payment during business hours, put it in the secure drop box outside the CDA office after business hours, or mail your rent payment to the office. The CDA is not responsible for mail delays if you pay by mail.
- The CDA does not accept cash or credit cards, you can pay by check or money order.

Any time there is a change in your rent portion, your caseworker mails you a letter with your new amount and the month it is effective. You will continue to pay this rent amount until your income changes or you complete your annual recertification.
If you can’t find your letter, please contact your caseworker.
The Family Self-Sufficiency Program was established to assist current Housing Choice Voucher holders become self-sufficient and meet their goals. The program helps participants to set up an escrow savings account that will be used to reach their goals, such as a down payment on a home, reliable transportation, repayment of student loans, etc. Learn more about this by clicking here.
