Good Luck to the 2022 FAST-TRACK Business Challenge Finalists

We are pleased to announce the five finalists for the 6th Annual Scott County FAST-TRACK Challenge, to be held on Thursday, October 13th at 5:30 p.m. at Savage City Hall, 6000 McColl Drive, Savage. The following were selected from a very qualified pool of applicants from New Prague, Prior Lake, Savage, and Shakopee.

Anarus
has developed a worldwide cloud electronic data exchange network to connect manufacturers, through a business-to-business network, to distributors, retailers, contractors, buildings, and architects. GRAND Anar provides a method to store and share data in the cloud securely and frustration-free. Prashubh Batham, President and a resident of Savage, has been instrumental in four successful software company start-ups. Brian Moody, Chief Software Technologist, and Richard Beer, Board Member/Investor, bring decades of software experience. They plan to locate the business in Prior Lake.


BioHera
Based in Prior Lake, BioHera is developing the Medusa Trap, a medical device designed to alleviate entanglement issues of IV lines for ICU patients. The corporate mission is to simplify caregiving and make it more efficient by providing products that streamline workflows and improve patient care. Co-CEOs Cassie Alverson and Maria Damerchi bring over 20 years of combined medical device sales and marketing and medical device business and commercial strategy experience.


Meat & Potatoes Organizing
This women-owned professional organizing company partners with individuals, businesses, and government agencies to create functional, beautiful spaces. Cori McDougal, CEO and Owner, and her team have a proven system for decluttering and organizing to help simplify your daily life. The company, which was formed in 2021, now serves the Twin Cities metro area, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and New Mexico, with plans to expand nationally.


Miway
Principals Cameron Shuck, CEO, and Austin Murr, COO, are developing a revolutionary browser extension that gives internet consumers ownership of their own data and empowers them to control who can access their data.  Miway seeks to bring together consumers, advertisers, and content creators to form a mutually beneficial and ethical partnership to lead advertising into the future.


New Prague Counseling
Based in New Prague, they provide mental health psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Recognizing a need for expanded mental health professional services in rural MN, Karen Jensen, MSW, LICSW, will build her business to address the gap in services and build a stronger mental health care system. Karen brings 25 years of education and professional experience to the company.
