Meet Board Commissioner of District II, Terri Gulstad

How long have you been on the board?

I have served on the board for 5 years and am the board secretary and am on the Finance Committee.

What is your favorite part of being on the board?

I retired from the CDA after working there for nearly 20 years. I believe in the mission and love still being involved albeit in a new way.

What is something about the CDA’s work you are proud to support?

The CDA is always striving to provide housing for anyone that needs assistance: maybe just a little, maybe a whole lot. I’m proud of the many different housing services we provide to people in all walks of life.

What is something about the CDA’s work that the public may not be aware that we do?

We are more than housing. We work in partnership with different public and private entities; we have been a part of a variety of innovative redevelopment projects around Scott County.

Where do you work or volunteer?

Since retiring, I have worked a few temporary accounting jobs and served as an election judge in the County. Mostly, I enjoy my time traveling, long walks with my dog, and making memories with friends and family.

The CDA Commissioners are appointed by Scott County Commissioners by District.  District II consists of the cities of Credit River, Elko New Market, Prior Lake: Precincts 2, 3, 4, and Townships of Cedar Lake, New Market, and Spring Lake Precinct 1.
