We realize the COVID-19 pandemic has caused tremendous hardship on households especially when it comes to the ability to pay for most household’s largest bill each month, rent or mortgage.
Help for Homeowners
If you are having trouble paying your mortgage, contact your lender right away.
You may have heard that some lenders are suspending foreclosures, but you should talk to your lender and a counselor to make sure you understand your circumstances.
The Scott County CDA is here to help with free, unbiased, confidential foreclosure counseling. Counselors are working remotely and will be able to talk to you via phone and email.
